Could be another hit for Salman Khan. I wonder who will do the music. Please don't let it be Sajid-Wajid!

Imtiaz Ali to direct film for Sajid Nadiadwala
fter the super success of his Love Aaj Kal, Imtiaz Ali has given the green light to direct a film for producer Sajid Nadiadwala. The film is expected to go on floors later this year and will hit screens in 2011.
"Yes, Imtiaz would be making a film for my production house later this year. It would be made after my next film, Kick, which is soon going on floors," said Nadiadwala, who has as many as four films in different stages of production.
While Housefull, which has been directed by Sajid Khan of Heyy Babyy fame, is complete and all set for an April 30 release, shooting is under way for Anjaana Anjaani, which has Siddharth Anand at the helm of affairs.
Kick is going through scripting, while plans are being put together for the film by Imtiaz Ali.
Since Ali has made three back-to-back romantic comedies - Socha Na Tha, Jab We Met and Love Aaj Kal, will his next belong to a similar genre?
"It would be too early to divulge the subject as we are yet to lock it. Imtiaz takes his own time to script a film and that's good because what he delivers at the end is simply superb. We will make other formal announcements at the right time," said Nadiadwala.
But he said that like his earlier films, the movie with Ali would also be a commercial entertainer.
"I have made all kind of films. Some of them have been love stories, others have been comedies, a few have also been action dramas. Jeet, Judwaa, Heyy Babyy - they all belonged to different genres but then they all have been commercial to the core. I know for sure that my films can't be dark cinema," said Nadiadwala.
Doesn't he feel like making small budget films and taking an experimental route?
"See, till the time we don't have studios and start making 15 different films, it won't be feasible to get experimental. In any case, I have always been part of big cinema. My father also used to make only big films. Do you know that he had made Taj Mahal way back in the 1960s? Our family just can't think small."
The producer, however, clarified that Kick, which reportedly stars Salman Khan, is not completely an action movie.
"First of all, let me clarify that Kick is not an out and out action flick. Someone just carried an article stating so, though it is nowhere closer to the fact. Secondly, it is too early to talk about the script. We are still in the process of working on it though we should be able to wrap up soon. We begin shooting in August-September."

Sonakshi to star with Salman in Kick remake to be directed by Shirish Kunder
By Subhash K. Jha, September 15, 2010 - 13:31 IST
Just a day before the release of his first film with Sonakshi Sinha, Salman Khan has signed another film with the much talked-about debutante.
On Thursday afternoon, producer Sajid Nadiadwala drove down to the Sinhas' bungalow to sign Sonakshi opposite Salman in the Hindi remake of the Tamil blockbuster Kick which Shirish Kunder will be directing for Nadiadwala.
Salman was not only keen to sign Kunder as director, he strongly recommended Sonakshi for the female lead which Ileana had performed in the Telugu original.
Confirming the news, Sajid Nadiadwala says, "It was Salman who was very keen that I sign Sonakshi opposite him in Kick remake. I became a hundred percent sure of her after I saw her in Dabangg. She and Salman make a great pair. I am very happy to be working with Shatruji's daughter. He has worked extensively for my banner. In fact I've a picture at home with Shatruji when he was shooting for our banner in Bhai Ho To Aisa. I was 6 at that time."
Says Sajid emotionally, "This is the first time I've gone to someone's house to sign an actor. Everyone comes to my office. But Sonakshi is Shatrughan Sinhaji's daughter."
Adds Shatughan Sinha, "I told Sonakshi that I've worked with Sajid's grandfather and father. Now it's her turn to continue the tradition. God willing my sons too will work with Sajid."
The remake Kick-starts this winter.
Incidentally, this is Sonakshi's third film with Salman. She is already doing the sequel to Dabangg with the star.

Salman Khan to star in 3D flick?
Mumbai, March 17, 2011
Ever thought of watching Salman Khan in 3D? You just might get to experience that with the actor’s upcoming film, Kick, as director Shirish Kunder intends on using the technology.
“Yes, there is an intention to dabble with 3D in Kick. I will soon be meeting Salman to discuss
The film, a remake of a Telugu action romance movie, will have a lot of stylised action sequences. Reportedly, The Transporter (2002) and Rush Hour 3 (2007) stunt man Philippe Guegan will come down to Mumbai in September and personally train Salman for the film. The actor, along with his Dabangg co-star Sonakshi Sinha will start work on Kick around the same time.
For the time being, Shrish is busy with his 3D project, Joker starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha. According to reports, Salman was quite fascinated with the technology and rumours even suggested that he wanted to be a part of the 3D flick. “That’s not true. Contrary to reports, Salman isn’t doing any cameo in Joker,” clarifies Shirish, who directed him and Akshay in his directorial debut venure, Jaan-E-Mann (2006).
Shirish, meanwhile, is happy to have wrapped up shooting a major portion of Joker. “We have just finished the first 90-day schedule in Chandigarh. I’m happy to have completed 40 per cent of the film,” says Shirish, who will complete the rest of the shoot over the coming few months. “The plan is to release the film by the year-end,” he adds.
Besides Joker, Shirish is also working on a script about dance. “I am very excited about the story I am working on with Mr Amitabh Bachchan in mind. Let me complete the script and then I will approach him with it,” says Shirish.
Sallu, Kat dance again
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif never fail to make headlines. Now, the buzz is that they will be seen shaking a leg together, along with Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha, for Shirish Kunder’s Joker. Apparently, the song will be picturised only after the principle shooting of
Joker is completed. But Shirish feels it’s too early to talk about the number. His choreographer wife Farah Khan too refused to reveal anything. “Please talk to Shirish about Joker,” she says. Salman and Katrina recently featured in Wallah re wallah… in Farah’s Tees Maar Khan.
